I have always been a size 4 for most of my life, I didn’t realize how much of an identity my size had become until I gained 12 sizes due to a bout of auto immune diseases for which I was prescribed steroids. Immediately my self esteem began to suffer greatly and I became very depressed. After spending a year at the gym and months with a trainer I came to the realization that I was not going to be able to get to the body that I once had on my own and decided to start looking into Liposuction.

I met with countless doctors and consulted with even more, then I came across Dr. Onwuka’s profile on a medical website with regards to liposuction. As per usual I called in to make an appointment and was immediately drawn in by the cheerfulness of the nurse who had picked up the phone who sounded excited to have me come in to check out their facility and to meet the doctor.

Once I came to the office the doctor took a look at me with two ladies in the room and very respectfully asked me what my goals were. This was the first doctor who asked me what my thoughts were on how my body should look, I was amazed at the humbleness. The ladies in the room assured me that I would be even thinner then I was when I was a size 4 and it would be well worth the experience.

Fast forward 3 months, I have now had a 360 liposuction on my abdominal and my back, my arms, and my thighs. For the first time since the steroids I am wearing a size extra small (from my original Large). All of my massages, lasers needs, vela shape for little fixes here and there are done in house at extremely reasonable rates in comparison to other places (I called around and check the internet before committing to anything).

I run into other liposuction patients in the lobby every time I come to the office and we all enjoy a camaraderie knowing that we have found the best doctor and the best office for this shared experience.

This was also the only place that was willing to do two surgeries to get enough fat out for the price of one so that I would be satisfied with my end results. This has been the most significant experience of my life and I would wholeheartedly recommend any and everyone to this cosmetic center for all their aesthetic needs.
